Every year I’m conflicted about seeing Easter chocolates out in stores two months early. There’s the planner side of me that loves it, because what better way to prepare for our annual Easter egg hunt than to shop for it in January! Then there’s the side of me that knows if I shop early, I’m likely going to eat all those chocolate eggs before they make it anywhere near an Easter basket, but I’m always pretty stoked to know I have plenty of time to replace them.
Finally, there’s the practical side of me that knows I’m never going to fit into my pants again by the time Easter is over, so I’ll need to console myself by shopping for new clothes that fit the newly reshaped me. I suppose when I think about it though, there’s really no conflict here after all. It suddenly all seems pretty win-win to me!
